Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician
Hours: Part time 24 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Starting at Min wage for age dependant on experience and qualifications.

This opportunity will be excellent for an experienced dispenser who is driven by customer engagement and by making a difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispense prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
2. Complete operational requirements as requested by the Branch Manager.
3. Comply with NHS contractual obligations, GPHC, regulations and SOP’s.
4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Health & Safety, company procedures, rules, and regulations.
5. Serve customers on the phone and over the counter, providing excellent customer service while promoting services.
6. Adopt the company values and be an ambassador for the business.
7. Work in line with stock management procedures.
8. The position reports to the Branch Manager.
9. Training is essential for individual growth and the successful candidate must have an open approach to training and complete courses when necessary.

3. Good communication skills are essential as you must be able to listen carefully to what patients say, as well as be able to explain complex and sometimes sensitive information to the public and other healthcare professionals.

5. Ability to work with others in a multidisciplinary team as well as be a key member of the team.
6. Have a genuine concern for the welfare of the public.
7. Must be accurate and meticulous regarding attention to detail.

12. High level of IT literacy and numeracy.
13. Must be available to work weekends to a rota and be flexible to cover for sickness and holidays.
The position is available as soon as the successful candidate can join the team.
