Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your management accounts experience in a very unique and interesting company.

Key Responsibilities:
* Completing Sage 50 bank reconciliations for multiple companies and providing daily cash updates to senior management.
* Assisting the Finance Manager, when necessary, with credit card receipt compilation and reconciliation for multiple cardholders and entities.
* Posting overhead invoices.
* Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments, depreciation, and work in progress.
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries around control accounts with a high emphasis on intercompany accounts.
* Setting up payments in banking systems and monitoring approval workflows.
* Performing cost analysis on P&L codes and investigating monthly variances.
* Conducting control checks and stepping in to cover finance roles during absences.
* Assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of 2 years’ management accounts experience.
* Proficiency with accounting software, Sage 50, Sage 200, Xero, etc.
* Part qualified or qualified by experience.
* Strong Excel skills are essential (V-Lookups, pivot tables as an absolute minimum).
* Experience working in a multi-company environment is a plus.
* Experience working in the automotive industry would be highly desirable.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude.
