About the Role: As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of Staffscanner and our other service offerings. You will be pivotal in enhancing its market presence, working alongside the marketing team. Your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality copywriting, craft compelling pitch decks, and craft commercially focused marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences. By leveraging your creativity and strategic thinking, you will support business objectives, strengthen brand messaging, and contribute to revenue generation. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams across Staffscanner and associated group companies to ensure marketing materials align with business goals and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning and Messaging
* Develop and update product positioning strategies.
* Create and roll out messaging frameworks that aim to provide easy-to-understand and memorable messaging that speaks to our target audiences.
* Develop commercially focused content for pitch decks to support sales and business development efforts.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and ensure pitch decks, website content, case studies effectively communicate key value propositions.
* Thinking outside the box when it comes to bundling products across our portfolio of offerings.
* Develop training materials to align the sales and other departments with updated product features and messaging.
* Plan and execute launches for new features or services.
* Coordinate with the product team to ensure timely communication of updates to clients and internal teams.
* Use segmented campaigns to introduce updates to clients based on relevance.
Content Marketing
* Write and manage impactful content, including:
* Blog posts on industry challenges (e.g., navigating staffing shortages).
* Helping to write social media posts showcasing Staffscanner’s fair wage and compliance practices.
* Thought leadership pieces on the future of care sector staffing.
* Product Launch Playbook:
* A guide for rolling out new features and how to communicate their value (for various internal and external stakeholders etc.)
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
* Work closely with sales, customer success, product, recruitment and other teams to understand business objectives and align marketing activities accordingly.
* Liaise with external vendors, designers, and content creators as needed.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis
* Analyse competitor campaigns and positioning to inform marketing strategies.
* Conduct in-depth research to understand care sector trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
* Gather insights on agency spend, compliance challenges, and staffing shortages to refine product positioning.
* Develop personas for care home managers, operational directors, and temporary staff to tailor messaging.
Brand Consistency
* Ensure all content and marketing materials adhere to brand standards, maintaining a consistent tone and style.
* Developing out brand guidelines relating to tone of voice and value proposition.
Reporting and Insights
* Track key metrics for content and campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
* Use analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.
* Analyse Feature adoption rates by clients & client satisfaction scores tied to product use.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance marketing efforts.
* Experiment with new content formats, styles, and delivery methods to maximise impact.
Skills Required:
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive, engaging, and error-free copy.
* Strong storytelling ability to connect with target audiences and convey complex ideas clearly.
* Solid understanding of marketing principles, including campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis.
* Experience creating multi-channel marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
* Proficiency in creating visually appealing pitch decks and marketing materials using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Ability to translate business objectives into visually impactful presentations.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to align content and campaigns with organisational goals and target market needs.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
* Ability to take feedback constructively and adapt work to align with team goals.
* Proficiency in conducting market research and analysing industry trends to inform content and campaigns.
* Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) to track campaign performance and refine strategies.
* A creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and adapt content for diverse audiences and platforms.
* Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and market conditions.
