Job Title: Bid Manager Company: Reed Learning Contract: Full-time or part-time, Permanent. Your new role… Reed Learning is looking for a Bid Manager to both write and project manage tenders and presentations for our future clients. This is a new role, required due to the growth that the business is experiencing. The candidate will build up Reed Learning's bid management processes, working closely with the Director of Consulting to establish a bid function which can manage multiple bids simultaneously. This role will also include proactive business development responsibilities to identify potential opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and support the engagement of decision-makers. What you'll be doing You will be responsible for establishing and running Reed Learning's bid management function, initially creating the processes needed to enable future success. You will manage the end-to-end bid process for all Reed Learning tenders. You'll write learning managed service and leadership development tenders for organisations operating across all industries and sectors. You will manage bids for apprenticeships and professional qualifications, plus any frameworks that are identified as appropriate for Reed Learning to apply to. You'll work in partnership with our Director of Consulting throughout the proposal process, project managing different stakeholders to ensure we get the information we need, when we need it. You will regularly review and update our library of information to support our proposals. You will collate information from across our business, engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You will support all stages of the tender process, including PQQs, RFIs, ITTs, RFPs, and presentations. You'll support our approach to continuous improvement and identify better ways of working by conducting reviews with both internal and external stakeholders. This will initially involve setting up Reed Learning's bid management processes, drawing on the bid expertise elsewhere in the Reed Group. You will create engaging graphics and presentations that support our sales messages. This will involve working with the Client Services and sales teams to prepare Discussion documents for clients who are interested in our services. You will identify proactively customers that we would like to work with, mapping the market to find potential opportunities. You'll conduct competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape and inform bid strategies.
