"Our school values are founded on respect for self and others, tolerance and support.
We are one of the largest schools in Edinburgh with a roll of pupils and staff. This provides us with the opportunity to provide a wide range of curricular, interdisciplinary and extracurricular activities that meet the needs of all of our pupils. We also provide opportunities for personal achievement and support pupils to develop skills for learning, work and life.
The English faculty is one of the largest in the school and we are looking for a new colleague who is looking for the opportunity to be part of a highly successful and collegiate team and who will contribute to the high levels of attainment at all levels in the faculty.

Firrhill is a Gold Rights Respecting School and we place children’s rights at the centre of our practice. This contributes significantly to our school ethos of inclusion, diversity, tolerance and friendship where excellence for all and excellence by all is our constant ambition. The work of the school is supported by an active Parent Council and Parent Teachers Association.
