G Parker engineering is looking for an apprentice to join them at their site in Accrington. Established for over 40 years and now in its second generation of family ownership. G Parker Engineering has been closely involved in designing & manufacturing tooling for many of the world's most prestigious aircraft programmes.

£14,526.20 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
* Design and manufacture detail tooling, jigs and fixtures for the aerospace industry
* Design & manufacture tooling for both sheet metal and composite airframers
* Design & manufacture tooling for Engine manufacturers
* Design & manufacture tooling for Electric motor assembly & dis-assembly
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Tool care which includes Fault diagnosis and repair activities
