You’ll be working on cutting-edge electrical and lighting systems for the marine sector, playing a key role in delivering critical systems for naval defence applications.
Design Electrical Systems: Work on the design and development of electrical systems, ensuring that they meet the high standards required for defence applications, specifically for marine environments.
Develop and design advanced lighting systems to enhance operational efficiency and safety aboard marine platforms.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer specifications.
Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements specific to the defence and marine sectors.
Address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety in challenging environments.
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on electrical and lighting systems.
Experience in the defence or marine sectors is highly desirable, though candidates with transferable skills from other industries will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, systems integration, and industry-specific standards.
Familiarity with relevant design software tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
