The Euxton Mills is a traditional detached building located on Wigan Road, which is the main road through to the village of Euxton, Lancashire. The population of the civil parish as taken at the 2011 census was 9,993, however, the population is now estimated to be around 14,000 due to the increase in housing developments in the village, including the Buckshaw development.
Pub Layout
There are two entrances to the pub, the main entrance is via the main road and the other via the carpark. Upon entering the pub from the main entrance you are led to two separate trading spaces, to the left is an area with circa 16 covers and features an open fire and is serviced by the bar, making this the ideal space to enjoy a drink or two. To the right of the entrance is a further seating area with circa 17 covers and features a second open fire creating a warm, cosy atmosphere for drinks and/or dining. Adjacent there is further dining area which accommodates room for an additional 14 people and is serviced by the bar and provides access to the well-equipped catering kitchen and ladies toilets. Also accessed through here is the fourth trading space which comfortably seats 16 people and is again serviced by the bar, there are two TVs in this area and is often used by those wanting to enjoy televised sport.
Trading Style:
The existing licensee has built up a fantastic trade here offering a highly rated food menu and a cosy drinking atmosphere that caters for all. The drinks range is a premium range with a selection of real ales and wines which are very popular and accompanies the food well. There is a good rhythm of the week in way of open mic nights, live entertainment and televised sports.
