Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
* Provide outreach tutoring sessions in a variety of settings, including homes, libraries, and community centres
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Minimum Requirements
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEMH students
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
* Understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment methods
* Experience in delivering outreach education programmes
This role requires travel to various locations within the East of England region. Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate student schedules.
