Service Transformation Facilitator (Internal only)

This is a great opportunity to work with teams across the organisation on trust priorities and support the spread of quality improvement as a vehicle for change.
Support the planning and delivery of programmes of work in order to drive continuous quality improvement and transformational change, with a leading role in some project elements.
Use quality improvement methodology from concept through to operational delivery, supporting the development of clear plans, data analysis and the collation of robust evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of improvement.
Apply a range of quality improvement methodology in order to develop and understand opportunities and constraints to service delivery.
Hours per week: 37.5 (x1 permanent contract & x 1 fixed term until November 2025)
Main duties of the job
All staff in the Service Transformation Team will be expected to work across departmental boundaries in a collaborative, matrix style approach, providing a 'consultancy' function to the Directorates (Acute and Community settings).
The post holder will be expected to work across a portfolio of initiatives, with guidance and supervision from peers.
Develop strong collaborative working relationships and wide networks with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of transformation, improvement and/or redesign programmes.
Support the preparation and facilitation of workshops, with an expectation of delivering presentations to varied forums.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree level or equivalent experience
* Extensive experience working in the NHS
* Evidence of continued professional development/postgraduate training
* Experienced in using MS software
Knowledge
* Specialist knowledge of quality improvement methodology, tools and techniques
* Good understanding of NHS and Local Authority structures from managerial and clinical perspectives
* Ability to manage multiple/diverse complex tasks requiring analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple agencies (both public, private, third sector and voluntary sector)
* Good, demonstrable understanding of local and national policy, with a view to interpreting for delivery
* Specific knowledge relating to Lean, and leadership for change
* Awareness of Appreciative Inquiry and solution-based methodology
Skills
* Confidently prepare and support the facilitation of multiagency workshops
* Emotional intelligence, with an ability to recognise potential situations and respond accordingly
* Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative
* Persuasive and effective communicator and negotiator
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to prioritise and manage demanding workloads, working to tight and often challenging timescales with an awareness of how to manage own stress (resilience)
