Main duties of the job A quality preceptorship package is provided from our clinical teams with the support our Clinical Educators. The Surgical Admissions Unit/POSDU is responsible for caring for patients requiring elective surgery pre and post operatively including day cases and overnight admissions. The unit accepts different surgical specialities. The successful candidate will be supported and trained using a competency based package to enable a rotational programme within the Surgical Admissions Units and Post Operative Surgical Day Unit.
