We are looking for an experienced senior MEP digital engineer to join the team where you will be working on some fascinating projects including nuclear power stations, life science buildings, data centres and hospitals.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for an MEP Digital Engineering Design / BIM Coordinator to join the Crown House Technologies MEICA Digital Design Centre based at one of our head offices which could be either Manchester, Leeds or Dartford.
The Crown House Technologies MEICA Digital Design Centre provides the capability to fully engineer our projects before commencing work on site ensuring an optimised engineered solution, technical excellence, maximised use of offsite products, reduced waste and enhanced delivery efficiency. All of our engineers are part of our Engineering Enterprise and aligned with our overall strategy to maximise DfMA, Digital Engineering, and Early Engagement.
What will the role look like?
* Assisting in the review of design information in line with the design management procedures for completeness and compliance with contractual obligations, including factors such as programme, buildability, safety, maintenance and technical suitability.
* Assisting in the implementation of agreed processes for the production, control and distribution of design information at different project stages.
* Assisting in the regular progress reporting of the design, including production, co-ordination and interfaces, against a timeline.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Contractor side experience of MEP Digital Design / BIM Coordination and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)
* First degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / MEP / MEICA, other construction or design related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment.
* Experience working with design consultant teams.
* Experience of range of building materials and techniques.
Technical Capabilities:
* Creating and owning the design brief
* Design optimisation
* DfMA
* Managing consultancies
* Information and change control
