Job description - Internal Sales £28-40K dependant on experience, bonus structure, 25 days holiday, company pension 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday with a flexible finish on a Friday My client is leading plastic supplier who carry an vast range of stock to accommodate the diverse market for semi-finished plastics materials. They offer CNC machining, custom cutting services and ensure quality finishes with a rapid turnaround for valued clients in sectors such as construction, sign, display and graphics, oil and gas and many more. The role is office based, although occasional visits to customers to problem solve and grow your relationship is encouraged. The role requires a driven and dynamic individual who can work in a fast-paced sales environment, collaborating with all areas of our business to deliver profitable sales growth. The position requires proactivity to find new customers, increase the Company market share and grow business profitability. The role will involve: Internal sales – Receiving and making calls and taking enquiries via multiple channels to enable the design, estimating, quotation and order processing of be-spoke plastic fabrication products to the businesses, public, and key accounts. External sales – visiting new and existing customers to advise and problem solve by understanding their design and application requirements then produce quotes and secure orders. You will also assist the wider sales team with quotes and sales for standard and cut-to-size plastic sheets, tubes, and rods. Lead generation and appointment generation. Identify and develop potential future new business through proactivity. Build on relationships with our existing customer base. Generate add on sales. You will have the following skills / experience: Exceptional sales skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good planning and organisation skills. Knowledge and experience of engineering and fabrication practices is a massive advantage. Experience and history in problem solving. Be an initiative-taker, confident, highly motivated and focused. Have excellent time management skills. Be computer / IT literate (Microsoft AX an advantage) Know how to successfully sell, upsell, and sell add on products. The ability to read and understand drawings is essential. An understanding of CAD packages would be an advantage. You will typically have over two years successful experience in plastic fabrication sales although skills and experience in other fields will be transferable. Full driving license an advantage to enable you to attend off site meetings with customers, attend trade fairs and seminars and any other reasonable external business requirements. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager to suggest and deliver successful marketing initiatives. the company would alsoconsider someone with little to no fabrication sales experience and amend this role to a developmental role. However, technical sales and estimating experience would still be essential
