HYMH designs, engineers, manufactures, sells, and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. As a Business Analyst Lead, you will lead/supervise the development of effective partnerships with the business in order to provide technology solutions which deliver value-added business benefits. You must be able to identify business process strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas for improvements across a broad spectrum. The Business Analyst Lead will recommend proper prioritization and implementation of enhancements to existing systems and work as a liaison among business stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for enhanced changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
The successful Business Analyst Lead will have the following Key Accountabilities:
1. Recommend business solutions and provide specialist technical expertise, securing buy-in from stakeholders
2. Supervise the reviews and analysis of business information and determine an effective solution
3. Understand and follow the complete requirements of System Development Life Cycle and ensure alignment (definition phase through to proper and complete documentation phase)
4. Ensure that enhanced changes to business processes, policies and information systems are delivered, by working as a liaison among business stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements
5. Execute process redesign and improvement activities, including the incorporation of 'best practice' approaches ensuring that the required solutions are in alignment with the ongoing business strategy
6. Project Leadership - manage projects, ensuring that project deliverables are met according to specifications and to the satisfaction of the customer, considering system's delivery - solutions, response, and fit, using the Technical Project Management Methodology (TPM)
7. Maintain existing systems to standards that are agreed with the specific business community using the product, agreeing and maintaining the appropriate levels of service
8. Apply advanced application design and data modelling skills to lead design and development initiatives
9. Support development of curriculum, develop educational material and lead training sessions, developing the team to effectively service business community
10. Understand company and regulatory compliance in order to recommend and deliver leading edge solutions that are in strict alignment regulatory requirements.
The successful Business Analyst Lead will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
1. BS Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field
2. 7 years' relevant experience
3. 5 years' practical experience within an application and database development environment
4. Project Management experience and experience in basic project management control techniques (project work plan, scope control, task dependencies, etc).
5. Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle and Business Improvement processes
6. Strong business analyst skills
7. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels within the organisation, both in one-to-one and group presentation situations
8. Understanding of audit / compliance
9. Excellent PC skills, particularly windows products
10. Understand generic business process within field of expertise.
