BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a leading national law firm seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its growing Housing Management team. This opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with flexible hybrid working options across multiple locations. Excellent salary and benefits package available.
The Role
As an Associate/Senior Associate within this team, you will:
1. Join a rapidly growing Housing Management team, highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories, acting for Registered Providers and Local Authorities across the UK.
2. Manage a varied caseload, including possession proceedings (anti-social behaviour, sub-letting, succession issues, trespass), injunctions, and tenancy management matters (income, relationship breakdowns, succession, mental health).
3. Provide expert advice on Equality Act and public law, and review policies, procedures, and tenancy agreements.
4. Engage in both litigation and advisory work, playing a key role in supporting clients with housing management challenges.
5. Supervise junior members of the team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and excellent client care.
About You
To be successful in your application for this Housing Management Associate/Senior Associate vacancy, you will have:
1. Previous experience working in a Housing Management team, ideally representing Registered Providers or Local Authorities and a minimum of three years' PQE.
2. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of professionals.
3. A genuine interest in the social housing sector and a drive to provide exceptional service.
4. The ability to handle a varied caseload, work well within a team, and display a proactive, can-do attitude.
5. Advocacy experience (advantageous but not essential).
