Role & Responsibilities: As our new Youth Worker, you will be working closely with children who may need additional support, particularly in terms of social, emotional, and behavioral development. Your role will include:
* Providing individual and group support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
* Running tailored interventions for children with specific emotional or behavioral needs.
* Supporting children in developing positive relationships with their peers and adults.
* Assisting teachers in promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
* Helping students to engage with learning and develop life skills that will serve them beyond the classroom.
* Collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure each child’s needs are met.
What We’re Looking For:
* A passionate and empathetic individual with experience in working with children, ideally in a school or youth setting.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and adults.
* A proactive, solution-focused attitude, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
* An understanding of the challenges some children may face and the desire to support them in overcoming these barriers.
* A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.
* The ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
