Role Overview – CNC Milling Machinist (Night Shift)
We are currently supporting a leading aerospace client in their search for a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to work on a night shift basis and join their team at their Wolverhampton facility. Our client is renowned for designing complex and bespoke mechanical products for the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC 5 Axis Milling Machines, working to exceptionally close tolerances that are critical to the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Milling Machinist (Night Shift)
Set and run multiple CNC machines and processes, ensuring high precision and quality.
Operate CNC 5 Axis Milling Work Centres, ensuring they meet all required specifications.
Proven experience with Matsuura and DMG machines is preferred.
Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.
Work closely with engineering teams to address any machining challenges and improve processes.
Ensure that all parts meet customer requirements and aerospace industry standards.
Key Qualifications & Experience – CNC Milling Machinist (Night Shift)
A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent training.
Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing role, ideally within the aerospace industry.
Solid understanding of machining techniques and appropriate tooling for complex components.
Proven skills in multi-axis/complex machining environments.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
Proficiency in using relevant inspection techniques and equipment to meet drawing tolerances.
