We are a multidisciplinary team who work with young people with a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and provide assessment and treatment for Autism and ADHD. The team provides mental health assessments for young people with a neurodevelopmental disorder and also psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health disorders. Main duties of the job To provide an evidence-based therapy service to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in the Neurodevelopmental Service CAMHS which is part of the Children, Young People and Families Directorate in CPFT. Patients will be managed on a community basis, providing assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and/or comorbid mental health disorder and evidence-based therapy. At the same time as offering advice and consultation on patient's mental health care to colleagues and partner agencies and to other non-professional carers.
