To provide a flexible resource to support senior ward and unit teams in the provision of services.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
§ Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of your manager, colleagues or members of their professional team.
§ Working flexibly for the critical care teams, covering the work of colleagues during peak periods or absence
§ To provide administrative support to the Deputy Head of Nursing for the daily sitrep and staffing meetings.
§ Collecting, sorting and prioritising incoming mail to include e-mail management for the matron.
§ Provision of professional and timely communication links between patients/ relatives and medical/ clinical staff to ensure channels of communication are efficient and effective at all times.
§ Responsible for the dissemination of all relevant information to departments, external and internal users (e.g. dissemination of minutes, memos)
§ Encouragement and collation of open and honest feedback formally and informally from patients and service users.
§ Implementing and maintaining both manual and electronic filing systems and databases as required ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately archived § Organisation of maintenance repairs or reporting of faults., § Responsible for ordering stationary and other equipment whilst monitoring and maintaining stock levels
§ Work in a person-centred way with all members of the healthcare team
§ Working closely with the audit lead to conduct audits and input data accurately.
