𧹠Role | Services Design Engineer
đŻ Responsibilities | Design of building services systems (heat pumps, point of use hot water, MVHR) for retrofit projects, from early-stage heat decarbonisation plans through to delivery, soft landings, and post-occupancy evaluation.
đ Based | London Waterloo / hybrid.
âPurpose | Your expertise will directly contribute to decarbonising schools.
â Full-time | 40 hours per week (9am-6pm)
đ° Salary | ÂŁ45,000 - ÂŁ55,000
Our client, RAFT: Retrofit Action for Tomorrow, is looking for a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with expertise in building services design to support the development of low-carbon heating systems for school retrofit projects. From on-site assessments to delivering cost-effective solutions, youâll ensure systems like heat pumps, MVHR, and hot water systems integrate seamlessly into retrofit designs while aligning with Passivhaus standards.
This is an unique chance to be part of impactful projects that are decarbonizing schools and transforming educational spaces. It is a hands-on role where youâll tackle heat loss calculations, equipment and pipework sizing, and collaborate with architects and building managers to deliver sustainable solutions that make a real impact.
