Purpose of Role:
The Pressure Welder reports to the Team Lead Fabrication of the facility. This role requires safely welding parts together as per directed blueprints, weld maps and drawings provided. The Pressure Welder is responsible to provide quality welds that will confirm to customer's specifications and within hours allocated.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
2. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal pipe and other segments using processes such as GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW and SAW. • Repair worn parts of metal products.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
5. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
6. Completion of High School/GED required.
7. Journeyman or Red Seal Welder with Level B Certification with Log Book.
8. 2+ years of new and repair welding experience.
9. For British Columbia, Endorsement A is required.
10. Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) ticket is an asset.
11. Forklift license, overhead crane certification are assets.
12. Second shift position. 4, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday
