Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Consultant in Sexual Health / GUM and HIV to join our clients' team in Cornwall.
This 6-month contract offers a flexible 4-day work week with 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM hours, providing an ideal work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' sexual health needs, utilizing expertise in STI management and HIV care.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
* Promote public health initiatives and education programs to enhance community awareness and engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
Requirements:
* Degree in Medicine, Nursing, or related field.
* Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. GMC, NMC).
* Experience in Sexual Health / GUM and HIV care, preferably within a hospital or community setting.
* Strong knowledge of current clinical guidelines and best practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
