Job Summary: Company: Cuffe & Taylor/Live Nation (Music) UK Ltd Department: Finance Location: Farringdon, London Reports to: Account Management Working hours: Full time Role Description This position will be a key member of the Cuffe & Taylor Finance team whilst also being part of the wider Live Nation Management Accounts team. The role will be responsible for preparation of all budget, forecast, and month end reporting for the business, as well as certain weekly reporting deliverables. The role would suit someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines, has very strong excel knowledge and a keen attention to detail. The Company Cuffe and Taylor is a promoter of live indoor and outdoor entertainment events at sites including Cardiff Castle, Lytham Festival, Live at the Piece Hall and Scarborough Open Air Theatre. The company has experienced significant recent growth promoting 143 outdoor events, across 18 different sites in 2024, in addition to a varied indoor theatre programme. Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience - Proven experience within an accounting function. - Whilst not essential, AAT or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA is desirable - Previous experience closing a month end and forecast reporting - Experience working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines - Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables / V Look ups etc. Behaviours The following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a success: - Excellent communication skills - Strong time management and prioritisation - Great attention to detail - Initiative & self-motivation What the role includes? - Prepare month end actuals reporting and produce month end reporting packs - Update monthly forecasts, along with supporting analysis and commentary and submit figures into the financial reporting systems - Prepare annual budget files and budget reporting packs - Prepare accruals and deferral reports and post monthly reclass and provision journals - Prepare and post ad-hoc journals and ensure they have appropriate supporting documentation and rational - Review open project statuses, support with post-show project reconciliations and prepare project close packs - Preparation of monthly business packs for management - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to comply with established SOX procedures handed down by Live Nation Corporate.
