An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Christ Church C of E Primary school. A New Headteacher has started and has a clear vision for the community. People come first and children are at the heart of everything we do. Christ Church C of E Primary School is a two form entry school in the centre of Oldbury and is a voluntary aided school that is part of the Diocese.
Children are well behaved and the culture creates a positive working environment. Staff work hard but make time for a smile as we want staff to be strong practitioners and happy.
School is working with Early Excellence to improve the EYFS environment and there is also a plan to improve technology across school. Standards are improving, for example phonics, which is predicted to be at National this year. There is and will be a focus on developing aspiring leaders as part of the school’s CPD offer.
Our purpose is to empower pupils to SHINE beyond expectations.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher who works well within a team and who will help us on our journey to provide an exceptional setting for all pupils and their families as we grow.

7. Show willingness to lead initiatives, track and show evidence of impact.
8. Demonstrate a passion to make a difference to others.
Christ Church C of E Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its entire staff to share this commitment. All post-holders will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including a Children’s Barred List check for post carrying out a regulated activity.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
