Our client, a leading supplier of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services in the South East, is seeking a Workshop Pump Engineer/Technician/Fitter to join their esteemed team in the water sector. This permanent role offers the chance to work with a wide range of pumps and rotating machinery. Key Responsibilities: Completing pump overhauls from start to finish within the main workshop Carrying out fault finding and testing on various mechanical and electrical components Reading and completing technical documentation Repairing various types of pumps including centrifugal, split case, submersible, and vacuum pumps Working with pumps from manufacturers such as Sulzer/ABS, KSB, Xylem, Grundfos, SPP, Flowserve, and others Maintaining a high standard of workmanship in all tasks Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Job Requirements: Experience in electromechanical field, particularly with pumps, valves, motors, pneumatics, compressors, or similar rotating machinery Strong mechanical and electrical skills Ability to fault find, test, and repair mechanical and electrical components Proficient in reading and completing technical documentation Relevant qualifications ideally gained through an apprenticeship or accredited learning scheme Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eligibility to live and work in the UK Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity for overtime paid at time and a half or double time Company pension Chance to work with a variety of pump manufacturers and models Supportive and inclusive work environment Permanent, full-time role with a consistent 8-hour shift Monday to Friday If you have substantial experience in the electromechanical field and are looking for an exciting new opportunity, apply now to join our client's dynamic and talented team in Sittingbourne.
