This national law firm is looking for ambitious and driven Partners who are a bit bored of the mundane and fancy a challenge in their career. This firm is looking for an Employment Partner to head up their team in the Birmingham office. The Partners are excited about the development and growth of this next stage in Birmingham, and their enthusiasm and passion for the growth of the office is infectious. If you want to celebrate the successes of the job day to day but be part of a firm on a rapid growth trajectory, then this is for you. On offer is a great salary, progression at the pace you determine, and a healthy approach to working, fun, family, and personal life.
Employment Partner
When you join this collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your work and be trusted to get on with things. You will be provided with a professional, friendly, and sociable setting in which to thrive and realize your potential. As well as being technical experts, the current employment team is enthusiastic and gets stuck into a wide, varied range of work. You will be used to staying calm under pressure, and your colleagues will always be on hand to support you.
As an appointed Partner, you will advise on all aspects of employment law, including strategic employment law, major HR projects (i.e., outsourcing and restructuring), employment law compliance, executive severance, trade union and collective issues, and employment contracts and policies. The team also advises on the full range of employment tribunal and High Court litigation, including team moves and enforcing restrictive covenants. You will have strong academics and a good grounding in both contentious and non-contentious employment law. A real go-getter with a business/commercial mind, you should be able to work well under pressure and engage with clients to solve their business issues.
The Firm
The firm will invest as much time and care in your personal development as legal know-how. They actively encourage training and supporting ideas and ambition to fulfill your potential. Their approach to recruitment and retaining staff continues to attract some of the best legal minds in the industry. If you want to be part of one of the UK's most highly regarded law firms, work in an approachable and commercial environment, and work on a stimulating range of cases with a broad spectrum of national and international clients, this is the opportunity for you.
Salary & Benefits
On offer is an excellent starting salary along with a comprehensive benefits package which extends to your family as well.
