On behalf of our Client who is a prominent player in the chemical industry in terms of adhesives and related technology we are looking for an Interim Logistics Specialist. Mission: to enable a high quality and professional logistics process in assigned cluster by on time full execution of supply planning activities. Contribute to the European continuous improvement journey and participate in European logistics expert community. Responsibilities: • Execute on time Logistics processes in regional warehouses in collaboration with the regional logistics team (e.g., Inbound Management; Inventory Count; Inventory Rework & Disposal) • Execute on time Logistics processes in regional & central warehouses (e.g., Outbound Management (end customer distribution); Returns Management; Tax, Custom, Legal (E.G. Intrastat, ADR, LTSD); Logistics Value Added Services) • Monitor Logistics Provider Performance (Regional WHs overall distribution) and prepare KPIs on cluster level • Handle and follow up on Logistics claims • Perform Logistics cost control by summarizing invoiced costs and reporting to regional SC team and regional controlling • Monitor pallets and containers in the BMS tool EPAL accountancy maintenance, review the pooling return rate regularly and initiate corrective actions when needed • Contribute to the regional logistics expert community and implement provided the guidelines and CIP initiatives on cluster level • Actively generate and implement ideas for internal process optimization and logistics cost savings (First Time Right Methodology) Requirements: • University degree or equivalent knowledge, with preferred Supply Chain specialization (APICS certification as a plus) • 2 years of experience in a logistics role within a matrix organized multinational company • Experience in SAP • Good written and spoken English skills (B2 level or higher) • Strong in analytical and logical thinking • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tough deadlines • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and virtual environment • Motivated to collaborate in an international environment, with the willingness to occasionally travel
