We have an exciting opportunity for Bank Primary Care Nurse to join our Unscheduled Care Team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B Prison located in London.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
The site currently offers a 24-hour service:
Days: Monday to Sunday - 07:30 - 19:45
Nights: Monday to Sunday - 19:45 - 07:30
Salary
You'll receive a bank hourly rate of £25.59 per hour (weekdays) and £29.91 per hour (weekends & bank holidays).

Main duties of the job
As a Bank Unscheduled Care Nurse you will attend emergency response situations across the prison, assess patients, and ensure that follow-up care is implemented.
You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalized and informed by what matters to them.
* Deliver non-judgmental care that makes a real difference.
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders.
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.

Qualifications & Experience required:
* Registered Nurse Adult (NMC).
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.

* Excellent communication skills.
