Clinical Deputy Home Manager
Location: Port Glasgow
Salary: £45,000pa
Bright Selection has a new opportunity with a highly regarded and expanding private provider seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for one of their nursing homes in the Port Glasgow area.
The home is around 60 beds and is part of an established care home operator with a number of homes across Scotland and England.
Reporting to: Home Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that residents are correctly assessed, and that care provided is of a high standard.
2. Oversee medication provision.
3. Ensure record keeping within the home meets all standards and guidance.
4. Assist the Registered Manager with the recruitment, appointment, and deployment of all staff.
5. Carry out regular audits.
6. Oversee and carry out the effective induction, supervision, and assessment of staff.
7. Responsible for staff rotas.
Requirements:
1. Active NMC Registration (PIN Number).
2. Previous clinical leadership experience, ideally within a nursing home environment.
3. Sound knowledge of NMC Code of Conduct and standards and the revalidation process.
4. Sound knowledge of the Care Inspectorate Standards.
Salary/Additional:
£45,000pa
The role is a mix of hands-on nursing and supernumerary management each week, Monday - Sunday 8am - 8pm, 40 hours per week contract.
