Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging and effective lessons to facilitate student progress Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN Code of Practise Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs Strong classroom management skills Proficiency in assessing and tracking student progress Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, supporting students with SEN in an educational setting in Oxfordshire.
