Join us as a Family Group Conference Team Administrator, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Family Group Conference Service.
As the FGC Team Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for internal and external partners, building excellent relationships to support referrals and interventions, coordinating key functions within the service, ensuring smooth operations for critical teams.

The purpose of the Family Group Conference solution-focused practices is to bring families together to participate in decision-making and planning processes which will increase the safety and wellbeing of their children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
This voluntary process ensures that children, young people, adults, and families are appropriately supported to understand the concerns of professionals and are empowered or indeed repowered to utilise their knowledge, skills, and resources to make safe and sustainable plans that are future-focused.
The FGC Team Administrator role assists in promoting and developing the Slough Children First Family Group Conference service within a framework of equality of opportunity that responds appropriately to the needs of individual families from diverse backgrounds.
To provide a full and wide-ranging professional administrative business support to the Family Group Conference Service Manager and team of independent self-employed FGC Coordinators including an FGC Advanced Practitioner who will provide ad hoc cover for the FGC Service Manager on an as and when required basis.
The role specifically relates to managing the intake of referrals from a number of key Slough Children First services through the FGC ICS Pathway and liaising with a team of self-employed contracted coordinators to ensure that the work is allocated and completed within agreed timescales and in line with practice guidance and protocols.
We work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.
