Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about using their knowledge and skills to coach and mentor the next generation of Apprentices. This exciting opportunity is to become an assessor within the Strategic Growth and Partnerships Apprenticeship Team at West Suffolk College.
You will be responsible for an agreed caseload of Apprenticeship students, assessing their Electrical Installation/Maintenance competencies. Support the development of their skills, knowledge, and behaviours on a one-to-one basis in conjunction with their employer, ensuring students receive the necessary training and that they are fully prepared for the End Point Assessment element of their programme.
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate should have previous experience of coaching, mentoring, or inspiring others in any capacity. A Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification / NVQ L3 in Electrical (or equivalent) is essential for this role. You will be required to visit apprentices and their employers, so use of your own vehicle is required.

* This will be paid as £1,500 at the end of the first month of employment and £1,500 after six months completed service.
