Our client is a prominent player in the rail industry, currently seeking a Controller of Site Safety (COSS) to join their team for an upcoming contract based at Guildford Station. This is a night shift role spanning from 11pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday, running from 06/04/25 to 08/05/25. Key Responsibilities: Acting as the primary point of contact for safety on site during the project Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards Maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing necessary control measures Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers and contractors Reporting any safety incidents and near-misses promptly Liaising with management to provide updates on project safety status Participating in safety briefings and toolbox talks Job Requirements: NCCA COSS qualification Proven experience as a Controller of Site Safety in a rail environment Strong understanding of rail industry safety protocols and regulations Ability to work night shifts at Guildford Station during the specified date range Excellent communication and leadership skills Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities Benefits: Engage in a critical role ensuring site safety within a key rail project Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment Work with a leading organisation in the rail sector If you are a qualified and experienced COSS looking to contribute to a significant rail project, we want to hear from you.
