In order to transform Siemens Energy into an integrated energy company and decarbonization leader, the European team is seeking to hire a Key Account Manager, located in UK or Republic of Ireland, for our important customer SSE (www.sse.com).
You are versatile and creative with the ability to work in a fast, lean and agile way. You'll be an integral part of our Hub Europe business development team, leading the Key Account Management activities and being responsible for the well-rounded and strategic development of our Key Account SSE!
As the Key Account Manager, you will coordinate the strategic development of the Siemens Energy portfolio, lead executive relationships, and cultivate long-term collaboration with our customer.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Individual contributor leading the Key Account for the multidisciplinary and global business.
* Serve as the individual responsible for leading the Key Account, overseeing multidisciplinary and global business development for Siemens Energy.
* Establish and implement strategies with medium- to long-term impact (3 to 5 years) on business results, aligning with global organizational objectives based on your Key Account Development Plan (ADP).
* Lead the virtual global account team to drive global opportunities and initiatives with SSE.
* Collaborate with applicable global organizations, including interaction with senior management and/or board members, to ensure alignment and progress on business areas.
* Generate business opportunities by understanding customer needs and leveraging Siemens Energy's portfolio. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Increase the share of wallet for profitable business with SSE.
* Build account transparency through consistent use of CRM tools, such as Sales Force and dashboards.
* Handle highly sophisticated strategic projects, bringing together diverse stakeholders from across Siemens Energy and proactively driving and helping craft strategic priorities of the European team.
* Continuously contribute to improving methods and tools for Account Management and support the focus areas of the Siemens Energy European team.

* Experience in the energy sector, in strategy, business development, sales, or project management.
* Deep understanding of the international energy landscape and industries.
* Conceptual problem solving, and strategic approach combined with hands-on mentality; ability to define tangible concepts and results.
