Working as part of Middlesbrough Council, Recovery solutions helps those experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse and homelessness and we are looking for a Caseworker to join our team. As a Caseworker, you will be at the forefront of our outreach efforts, engaging with individuals in supported accommodation. You will work collaboratively with clients to devise and implement personalised recovery plans. Using a range of psychosocial interventions, your expertise will be essential in fostering resilience and promoting positive change in the people we help. Key Responsibilities: Attending supported accommodation and other outreach locations to engage hard-to-reach individuals with our service. Utilising psychosocial interventions to support clients in their recovery journey. Providing harm minimisation advice and education to promote safer choices. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support, making onward referrals where necessary. Maintaining accurate and confidential case records, tracking progress and outcomes. Raising safeguarding concerns where necessary. What We’re Looking For: A compassionate and dedicated individual with experience in substance use support, social work, or a related field. We would also welcome those with lived experience and experience of working within a support seeing. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a range of individuals.
