FT Recruitment is delighted to be working with a private equity-backed business that is looking to hire a Financial Controller on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will report to the CFO and Business Unit Director. This leadership role will involve working closely with the BU Director to advise on all financial and accounting matters. The FC will play a key role in financial transformation across the business using existing finance packages, ERPS, and other digitalisation tools to drive efficiencies, processes, and growth.
Key duties:
* Support business growth and operational efficiency across sales, cost management, and working capital using Strategic Financial leadership.
* Deliver insightful analytics to guide decisions and drive performance in revenue, margins, and EBITDA.
* Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
* Oversee cash forecasting, audits, and financial processes for strategic projects.
* Engage in business reviews and partner with leadership to meet financial and strategic goals.
* Ensure smooth month-end close and accurate reporting.
* Build a high-performing team and maintain strong governance across finance functions, while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Candidates can be either fully qualified or qualified by experience, whilst ideally having 8+ years working within a similar role. Manufacturing experience is also highly beneficial.
