Job Description
As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for:
* Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for all employees.
* Oversee the calculation and processing of statutory deductions, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and other payroll-related adjustments.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and employment laws.
* Implement and optimise payroll software to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll processes.
* Ensure payroll operations comply with all legal requirements.
* Manage payroll audits and ensure all payroll records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
* Assist in the preparation of payroll budgets and forecasts, providing accurate data and analysis to support financial planning.
* Monitor payroll costs and analyse variances, providing insights and recommendations to management.
* Lead and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
