We are looking for a full-time Senior Digital Communications Officer on an 18-month fixed term contract.
You'll collaborate and transform Adult Social Care communications, with a focus on simplifying and improving support for the people across Gloucestershire. With circa 52,000 registered unpaid carers, this role will be instrumental in the quality of support available. You'll achieve brilliant experiences by listening and co-producing communications with the different voices and communities of Gloucestershire.
The GCC Adults Transformation Programme is seeking a skilled communications professional to undertake a major and impactful communications project that will greatly enhance the experience of those who benefit from our services. If, like us, you want to make a real difference to people's lives and enjoy working in a team committed to change, then this could be the role for you., You will be skilled at using evidence to influence outcomes and priorities while juggling competing demands and managing stakeholder relationships across the local health and case system, to deliver the best experiences and outcomes for individuals. You will create communications that support demand capability, minimising reputational risk and building trust. Your strong communication experience will help you to build credibility and improved journeys for individuals through simplifying complex navigation and content, collaborating with Health partners and service providers. With evident passion for your discipline, you will bring in-depth knowledge of the latest communication trends and appreciation of the wider challenges impacting Adult Social Care.
You will have experience in:
* successfully leading, planning and delivering a wide range of communications activities across digital, internal and stakeholder, and external communications.
* mapping user experience journeys and identifying and implementing improvements.
* a proven track record in successful campaign/project management.
* effective digital content generation including videography.
* copywriting/content design of complex/controversial information in an engaging and creative way across all channels.

Although you will work autonomously, you will receive regular supervision to support you in your role, working closely with our Adults Transformation Team and the Integrated Commissioning Team.
