Inveralmond Community High school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is committed to improvement and excellence.
The successful candidate will support the vision for the school and implement strategies to achieve this vision. This is a key post which comes at an exciting and challenging time for education in the school. Inveralmond Community High School is a comprehensive non-denominational school situated in the Ladywell area of Livingston and serves a cluster of six primary schools.

The School provides a broad education for young people from first year through to sixth year. The school offers a full curriculum. The successful candidate will have the necessary experience and leadership skills to lead a team and assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence in order to support the improvement agenda of the authority.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate.
The fee for a Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59 or Existing Member is £18.
