We are specifically working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Oldham looking for a Maths Tutor, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them helping students in intervention classes for Maths key stage 3 & 4 from September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.
You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings. As well as helping students in small groups to progress their Maths ability, this may also include helping in lessons themselves. You may have to adapt your teaching to the students in front of you by helping them understand difficult aspects of Maths.
The opportunity is to work at a school that has ‘Good’ behaviour and attitudes, which means students behave well in lesson and around the school site.
