Theatre Manager
Newcastle Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work
£50,000 to £60,000 per annum dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Theatre Manager at our Newcastle Hospital, you’ll bring a nursing/practitioner qualification, specialist training and impressive senior-level experience in a clinical setting. Ideally, your wide-ranging skills will include teaching and assessment, as well as ILS/ALS. A professional management qualification would also be an advantage.
As a Theatre Manager, you will:
* Be operationally responsible for our Theatre including Endoscopy
* Ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
* Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals and patients
* Be fully accountable for leading, motivating and supervising multidisciplinary teams
* Work collaboratively to ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care
* Be trusted with everything from budget management to business planning and clinical governance

Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north easts leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating, we have 27 en-suite private bedrooms and 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, and to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, and cosmetic treatment.
