DMW Recruitment are looking on behalf of our client, for Marine Electrical Field Service Engineers to join the busy and expanding team in Teesside.
My client specialises in automation and electrical power for the marine, renewables and offshore industries. With a fast filling order book in the UK and internationally, hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate.
Skills required:
* Have a marine / offshore background, worked as ETO / Electrical / Electronics Technician.
* Have a wide range of experience including fault finding, servicing, repair, retrofit, and commissioning of all shipboard electrical, automation systems.
* Minimum level 4 qualification, preferably be degree educated.
* Be self-motivated and dynamic with a focused attitude towards safety.
* Hold a full UK driving license.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Fault finding, repair, servicing, and testing of all types of main and auxiliary equipment.
* Power generation, distribution, switchgear, and propulsion.
* Vessel automation, control systems and instrumentation.
* Service work planning, including scheduling and procurement of spare parts to carry out successful service visit.
* Planned maintenance, overhaul, upgrades, and retrofits.
* Commissioning and setting to work of new and upgraded systems.
* Working with our engineering department to plan, design and deliver both new and retrofit solutions.
* Training and mentoring of other personnel.
