We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our nursery setting.
Responsibilities
• Manage the daily activities of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement engaging educational programmes that support the developmental needs of each child.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote a positive learning environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experiences.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Collaborate with other educators to share ideas and strategies for improving the quality of care and education provided.
Skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
• Drive to continuously improve personal skills and knowledge within the field of early years education.
• Knowledge of nursery practices and early years frameworks is highly desirable.
