CPS is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, Atkins, and Egis, entrusted with operating and maintaining the M25—the busiest section of motorway in Europe. What you'll be doing
As a Commercial Project Change Manager, you’ll lead the financial and commercial success of key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. From procurement to risk management, financial reporting to contract administration, your expertise will shape the success of the M25 project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide innovative solutions in Buildability and Value Engineering reviews.
* Manage and oversee project budgets, costs, and change evaluations.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver within time, cost, and quality constraints.
* Use your expertise in civil engineering contracts to assess requirements and deliver persuasive recommendations.
* Collaborate on tenders and cost data, ensuring seamless delivery and reporting of commercial aspects.
* Guide and mentor teams while driving your own professional development.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be:
* A Proven Leader: With a track record of successfully delivering complex projects and mentoring teams.
* Commercially Astute: Experienced in managing costs, contracts, and risk in civil engineering projects.
* Technically Skilled: With a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Management and professional body membership (RICS, ICES, CIOB, or similar).
* Safety-Focused: Familiar with implementing safe systems of work in high-pressure environments.
* Digitally Savvy: Enthusiastic about leveraging digital tools to enhance project outcomes.
* Excellent Communicator: With strong verbal and written skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
Additional qualifications include:
* CSCS (Professionally Qualified Person), SMSTS, or equivalent certification.
* A valid UK driving licence.
