An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Product Manager to join GF Building Flow Solutions (Uponor LTD). In this key role, you’ll drive the execution of portfolio and channel strategies in selected markets, acting as a bridge between local markets and the Global Category team. Your deep understanding of local standards and market needs, combined with strong cross-functional collaboration, will help grow market share, unlock portfolio opportunities, and support the introduction of new solutions and synergies between categories.
What will you be doing?
1. Managing, coordinating and ensuring the execution of agreed portfolio and channel strategy in the market:
* Portfolio Management for the assigned countries (CMI Portfolio Management)
* Assigning or removing items from country portfolios in CMI, the existing in the EMEA portfolio, in agreement and collaboration with the Global category team
* Responsible for the steering and overview planning of new product introductions for the assigned markets/categories
* Conducting or supporting technical and product innovation trainings to sales force, in liaison with central EMEA marketing training team
* Create Content for sales argumentation to drive the GF BFS value propositions
* Managing the total category offer (for assigned markets/categories) including phase out items
1. Monitor and report customers, competition, application insights and business requirements as input for the category plan:
* Solid understanding of competitive products in the market addressing portfolio opportunities
* Assessing the addressable market opportunities in collaboration with Global category and local commercial teams
* Assist in conducting factory visits for Key Customers (Organization by trade Marketing)
* Checking the wholesalers’ portals to see if the right and necessary items are listed in shops etc.
* Application test of own and competitor products
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of local strategies with overall marketing objectives:
* Interface between market and internal segments
* Be the point of contact and reference about local standards, applications habits and needs both toward sales and internal functions:
* Committee and association work for standards (as agreed and found relevant within the region)
* Daily Business Application support for more advanced questions, not able to be handled by customer/project services
* Supporting field service and project services for more advanced questions, as a 3rd line support to create broader technical knowledge across functions
* Check and request input to external databases
3. Identify and quantify products and applications opportunities:
* Identification of customer problems and developing financial projection around value to the business
* Identification of the necessary products and applications for the market
* Identification of the required services and tools
* Elaboration and further development of business models
* Partner with the local commercial team and global category team to develop and validate MVPs
4. Contribute to create compelling contents to support our applications, products
What will you need?
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
* +5 years of experience in product management or related roles within the building products industry
* Prior experience in the building industry, preferably within the plumbing/indoor climate sector, with a heavy focus on product marketing
* Strong understanding of local market standards, application habits, and customer needs
* Proven ability to manage and coordinate product strategies within a regional market
* Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide actionable market insights
* Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Experience in identifying and assessing market opportunities
* Willingness to travel across UK and internationally if needed
