Job Title: Band 4 General Therapy Assistant Location: Romford Duration: 3 months Hours: Full Time Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Therapy Assistant to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This role is based in Romford and involves working in an acute medical and inpatient setting. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care to patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £17 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy: Assist in the implementation of therapy programs as directed by qualified therapists. Support patients in their rehabilitation and recovery processes. Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises with patients. Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising therapist. Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas. Provide emotional and motivational support to patients. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times. Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care plans. Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy: HCPC registration. Right to work in the UK. Previous experience in a healthcare or therapy assistant role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
