Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Practice Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the medical staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
* Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
* Administer vaccinations, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote health education among patients.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
* Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Provide support during minor surgical procedures and assist in patient recovery.
* Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of patient care practices and principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
