This is a pivotal role that reports into the IT Director & as the IT Manager (Infrastructure) your voice will really impact & drive the operational excellence of our IT Operations & Systems & Maintenance team, whilst looking for better ways of working and continuous improvements. Managing a team of x6, you will be leading a variety of people & projects along with supporting the team as they deliver on regular platform upgrades, maintenance, security compliance tasks and act as an escalation point for the Service Desk team for infrastructure related incidents and requests. What you'll be doing: Motivating and developing team members to deliver a high level of performance using company performance management practice (tools/process/behaviour) including goal setting, monitoring performance through regular check-ins, performance reviews and development plans Managing financial / budgeting procedures as required according to the local market Performing upgrades to key infrastructure platforms on a regular basis in line with maintenance schedule Regularly monitoring workloads and operating a flexible approach to sharing resources, especially within the wider team e.g., to handle peak demand/sharing tasks across teams Driving objectives to reduce overall cost and improve productivity and quality Managing and prioritising escalations related to BAU activities and ensuring targeted SLAs are met Providing status reports to the IT Director and other key project interfaces AXA Partners is AXA’s global entity dedicated to co-building and distributing with partners simple, customer-centric and innovative solutions that combine insurance, assistance and other value-added services.
