Position: Full-Time Temporary Admin Officer - Runcorn MOJ
Contract: 3 months with the possibility of extending
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours (37 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £11.59 p/h for the first 12 weeks rising to £11.88 after this period.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Admin Officer to support the admin team based at Runcorn MOJ. Duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Collection of financial impositions imposed by the Court accurately allocating money to accounts
2. Completing Bank Reconciliations
3. Maintaining a suspense report
4. General photocopying and filing
5. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input
6. Post opening and receipting cash and cheques
7. Handling telephone and written enquiries
8. Reconciling accounts
9. Running reports
Training will be provided on internal systems. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
1. Minimum qualifications: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language or equivalent), NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or relevant clerical experience.
2. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
