As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a Technical Account Manager who will be based from their Head Office in Eversley, Berkshire but will be required to work in the Field overseeing their existing customers and providing technical support and customer service, with a focus on delivering an exceptional service to their customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. To sell the company's range of RMC and concrete products to a range of customers, and provide outstanding customer service to all concrete customers.
2. To provide technical advice and support to internal and external customers for the Ready Mixed Concrete business.
3. Maintain and issue all mix design data for internal use and issue mix design certificates to customers.
4. Maintain all records and processes for compliance to BSI for Ready Mixed Concrete.
5. Manage any staff under his/her control in terms of efficiency, profits, safety, and service for the R Collard concrete business in line with company policy and procedures.
6. To deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers, by being the first point of contact for many of the R Collard customer base.
7. Ensure appropriate reports are accurate and produced for line management, for example lorry earnings, concrete mix costs, and sales forecasts.
8. Enter all orders and customer requirements into the company operational system.
9. Be an excellent team player, manage and motivate staff and communicate clear expectations ensuring capability and understanding of company requirements.
10. Communicate and implement standards and work practices to ensure application of company policy and procedures and relevant legislation.
Experience Skills / Competencies
1. Full UK Driving Licence.
2. Sound knowledge of sales and managing a sale territory preferably within the ready-mix concrete environment.
3. Concrete technology parts 1 and 2 preferable, but a minimum of 10 years' experience within the ready mixed concrete industry.
4. Knowledge of ready-mixed concrete and aggregates.
5. Good interpersonal skills, numerate and ability to deal with people of different skills and abilities.
6. Good spoken and written communication skills.
7. Be fully conversant with Microsoft packages, exchange, excel, word, power point. Ability to pick up and use cloud-based management systems.
8. Be an excellent team player, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding commercial environment.
